How it’s made
Four steps. Scroll, and the picture keeps up.
Choosing the hide
Full grain hides from Kanpur. Every hide is picked by hand — marked ones are rejected.
Cutting
Panels are cut on a clicking press. Fourteen to a pair, each with its grain direction fixed.
Stitching
The upper is assembled on a post-bed machine. Double stitching at every stress point.
Bonding the sole
Cold cement — heat and pressure bond the sole. That is why it never peels.
